Who I am

I am the data controller for the personal data collected through angegimenez.com.

Data I collect

When you submit my inquiry form, I collect the following information:

• Your name
• Your partner's name
• Your email address
• Your partner's email address, if you provide it
• Preferred language (English or French)
• Date of your event
• Venue or location
• Event type (wedding, engagement, celebration, or other)
• Vision and details for the cake

I do not collect any payment information, government IDs, or sensitive data as defined by GDPR Article 9.

Purpose & legal basis

I process your data solely to respond to your inquiry about a bespoke wedding cake commission and to manage the pre-contractual relationship between you and me.

Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps at your request).

Where your data is stored

Your inquiry is stored in Notion (Notion Inc., 2300 Harrison Street, San Francisco, CA 94110, USA). Transfers to the US are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as provided by Notion's data processing addendum.

A short notification of your inquiry (your names, email, wedding date and venue) is also sent to me through Telegram (Telegram Messenger Inc.), a messaging service based outside the European Union, so that I can reply quickly.

No other third-party service receives your personal data.

Retention

I retain your data for 3 years after my last contact with you. After that period, your data is permanently deleted from my records.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access: obtain a copy of the personal data I hold about you
• Rectification: request correction of inaccurate data
• Erasure: request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
• Restriction: request that I limit processing of your data
• Objection: object to processing where it relies on legitimate interests

To exercise any of these rights, contact me at hello@angegimenez.com. I will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority: CNIL.

Cookies

This site uses Google Analytics 4 for audience measurement, in Google Consent Mode v2: the measurement script loads with all storage denied, and no analytics cookie is set until you click Accept on the cookie notice. Once accepted, Google sets its _ga measurement cookies. This site uses no advertising trackers.

The date picker on my inquiry form runs entirely in your browser and stores nothing. Besides those measurement cookies, the only client-side storage is a single technical entry in your browser's local storage that remembers your choice on the cookie notice, so it does not reappear on every visit. It does not track you and is never shared with any third party.
